Kenny B

Kenny B started his musical career with songs in Surinamese, Aukan and English, hitting no less than fifteen No. 1 hits in Suriname. In the Netherlands, his breakthrough was with the hits “Als Je Gaat” and “Paris,” of which the latter spent seven weeks at No. 1 in the Top 40 and yielded multiple awards, including seven times platinum. Kenny was honored by Suriname in 2017 for his contribution to music and culture.

Besides his music career, Kenny has been featured in documentaries, films (“Sing Song”), the program “The Best Singers” and toured with his theatrical show “The Story of Kenny B. His collaborations with artists such as Flemish Niels Destadsbader (‘Liefs Voor Later’) and the hit ‘Fa Un De Ya’ with Kater Karma underlines his enduring popularity. Kenny is active for charities as well, including Free A Girl and War Child, and is committed to justice and equality.
